Things to Take HomeThe Book Thing of BaltimoreThis place is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and you go there to get free books. That is, you can take any book you want off any shelf for FREE -- no money or other donations needed, and no strings attached. They've got popular fiction, classics, textbooks, National Geographic magazines, The New Yorker, cookbooks, programming books, dictionaries, German literature, and more. The main focus is to "give what you can, or take what you need."
