Some Tips on Using the Website
This website can be a pretty useful resource:
- Be sure to explore the Advice section, for "how to..." instructions and tips on various aspects of PhD life.
- If you're new to Baltimore, explore the Baltimore section.
- The Calendar features various events throughout Baltimore or Hopkins, and you can "add the calendar" or "subscribe to the calendar" -- this can add the calendar to your own Google Calendars, or email you a daily agenda.
- The Extracurriculars section lists some of our favorite extracurricular activities, especially dancing, sports, and volunteering.
- The Housing section lists various ads, and you can also explore the Neighborhoods section to look at reviews of where people live.
- The Resources section has downloadable forms and maps.
- On the Links page is a list of URLs that we've found to be useful.
- The Photos section links to our Picasa albums.
- The Students section lists our Alumni and our Current Students, with random trivia facts, as well as information on the PhD Council itself.
